Exclusive interview: Allyson Felix, 200m Olympic champ

Ahead of the World Championships in Beijing, which begin Saturday August 22, we chatted to the super successful and all-round nice gal Allyson Felix.

The American’s first World Championships was in 2005 in Helsinki, Finland, where she won gold in the 200m while still a teenager.

Since then she’s won a further seven world championship golds and four Olympic golds in the 200m, 1x100m and 4x400m relay.

At the upcoming championships she’ll be switching to the 400m but can she win gold a decade on from her first World Championships win?

We started by asking what her memories were of her first World Championships when she was just 19 before moving on to her work with President Barack Obama and her favourite motivational quote.
