When Tafa has more time Game 7 mixed media painting is the result

Award-winning Ghanaian artist Tafa completed an acrylic painting of a live basketball match between New York Knicks and New Orleans Pelicans at Madison Square Gardens in New York in February, reveals Amsterdam News.

Fans could live stream the painting and spectators could watch Tafa live at the event.

Tafa said afterwards this pressure painting has been one of the highlights of his career.

“I like painting sports because it’s not just the arena and the people playing – but when Dr King said, ‘People should be judged by the content of their character’, to me, sports kind of underlines that because is the purest form of meritocracy,” explains Tafa.
