I was worried my boyfriend would be bored when he came with me to a press conference for the 2015 British Indoor Athletics champs. He seemed to be okay.

I was there to interview Team GB athletes ahead of the two-day event, pleased that one of my faves, sprinter Dina Asher-Smith was one.
Just the smiliest, most joyful of people, turns out her family are very much the same.
The 19-year-old talked to me about her family’s reaction when she became the fastest British woman ever, running 11.02s in the 100m at an event in the Netherlands.
Turns out, her dad has a big smiley grin too.
